Sunnyside Student Ministry is committed to leading students to find their meaning and destiny in Christ. We believe in delivering an exciting atmosphere in which High School and Middle School students can build meaningful friendships with one another and God while being impacted by the life-changing truth of God’s Word.

The Core

The Core is designed to equip students with relevant life-changing principles from God’s Word. Students are taught through creative and practical ways how to grow in their friendship with God and make an impact in their community. Lasting friendships and biblical teaching are emphasized every week at The Core. High School students meet in room 212 and Middle School students meet in room 213 every Sunday at 9:45am.

"Pulse"

Pulse is a safe environment where students can discuss life issues and deepen their relationship with Christ and one another through small mentoring/accountability groups. These groups are led by responsible caring adults who are committed to the spiritual growth of students. High School groups meet on Monday nights during the school year from 6:30pm-8:00pm. Middle School groups meet on Wednesday nights during the school year from 6:30pm-8:00pm.

The Edge

The Edge exists to reach out and connect with new students in a safe and friendly environment the first Sunday of each month from 5:45pm to 7:15pm. The Edge includes games, challenges, and lasting friendships. This event is open to both High School and Middle School students.

Mission

Opportunities to serve others are a core value of the Sunnyside Student Ministry. Our desire is to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the city of Colorado Springs and throughout the world is our mission. We don’t just go to church; we want to be the church. Therefore, we plan service projects and mission trip experiences to fulfill to meet the physical and spiritual needs of others.

• Wednesday Night – “Pulse” @ 6:30pm-8:00pm – Middle School High School
