Current Sermon Series: The Book of James

Big Idea for the Series:  We finished The Story and now ask, “So what?”  Just because we know something intellectually doesn’t mean it makes any difference in our lives.   What will Sunnyside do with what we know?  Basically, this is the question of James.  Faith is only faith when belief and trust are together, when assent inspires action.  As we study faith, we will see its true characteristics.  This book is meant to be very practical, challenging us to change our behavior based on what we believe.  Our culture has never been more counter to a Christian worldview and conduct.  It is the purpose of these sermons to inspire and help our congregation live lives that are producing a closer walk with Jesus evidenced by everyday lifestyles.
