Who we are

The CFC Ministries encompasses all aspects of theater productions to include acting, directing, producing, musicians of all kinds, set construction/design, lighting, sound, makeup, stage manager, public relations, costuming and various
other skills. Anyone looking to be a part of theater is encouraged to join our group.

A brief history...

CFC has been active at Sunnyside since 2000. We have performed many Christmas productions such as the musical "Word on the Street" in 2009 and "Between the Giants" in 2011. We produced and directed Good Friday presentations in collaboration with Meridian Point Church, and performed at both churches in one evening. We actively perform skits during services and other events at the church. Our youth members have performed Easter skits for the Kids Church and
are actively involved in many of our productions. Eight years ago we started offering a safe venue of Dinner Theater/melodramas for the church and community. Two years ago we joined forces with Meridian Point in offering the program at both churches and had a great production with "Murder at Mike's" in 2010.

Saturday Night Right

Our newest Venture

On the second Saturday of the month CFC is hosting Saturday Night Right from 7:00 - 9:00pm in the lobby of SCC. Adults and kids are invited to enjoy an evening of family, fun, friends, and the fellowship of God's presence. The evening includes bible study, games, music, entertainment, food and open mic improv in a coffee shop type setting, with lots of fun surprises.

Members of our ministry range from 5 to 75. We invite all ages to come and we will find a place for you to serve. Join the Characters for Christ drama ministry here at SCC. No skills required, just a heart to serve God in a unique way.
